Our Big Family

The Hardwood Floor Company is an Irish owned and family run business so in the early 90’s when we went to Europe and American to find top quality manufacturers of hardwood flooring we had already decided that we wanted to work with other family run business just like ourselves and not large corporations or PLC’s. We wanted manufacturers who would work with us, listen to our ideas, collaborate with us on R and D, use our knowledge base and experience and most of all form long lasting relationships where, like all good families, we will support each other and grow.

Now, our expended family hail from Finland, Austria, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, from the heartland of Ohio, USA to the majesty of Egypt in the east and as far away as the exotics of Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Together we have amounted a wealth of experience in the manufacture and installation of hardwood flooring.

Together we have tried and tested, innovated and designed. Together we have developed new techniques, new finishes and new concepts in wood flooring, the envy of many. Together we support the global initiative of the implementation of good forestry management so the future of our planet is assured. Together we love our forests, we love our wood and we love our craft. This is our big family.

Serenzo

We can still find today solid plank flooring dating back more than 500 years being in an excellent, useable state. Our big passion is to imitate these old pieces of art”.
